Modelos de Turbulencia y su Implementación en el Código de Elementos Finitos Fantom
Abstract
In the present paper we analyze turbulence models for incompressible flow and we applied the finite element method of three models: the 1 model (where l is Prandtl's mixing length), the k - ε model (donde k is the turbulent kinetic energy) and the k-ε model (where ε is the turbulent energy dissipation rate). We use our (k - ε)-predictor / (ε)-corrector iterative scheme to overcome the numerical difficulties of k - ε model. We analyze computational results for a variety of turbulence flow problems.
