Resolución por Elementos Finitos del Problema de Contacto sin Fricción en Fluidos
Abstract
A FEM program to solve the unilateral contact problem using the flow formulation is presented. An analysis of the parallelism between the Stokes problem and the incompressible elastic solids problem is performed. The unilateral, frictionless contact problem is treated by Lagrange multipliers and solved numerically by a dual
algorithm. Some results that validate the program are shown. The program has been extended to some cases of viscoplastic fluids.
