Numerical Study on the Dynamic Behavior of a thin Liquid Film Subject to a Vertical Oscillation

Abstract

In this work we investigate numerically the conditions for the onset of a two-dimensional wave motion on the free surface of a horizontal thin liquid layer subject to a vertical periodic acceleration of a very small amplitude and very high frequency.
